Can I complete a marathon by only training on a bicycle?
Can I complete a marathon by only training on a bicycle?
I did a half marathon that way with no problem… I didn’t run for 5 years, just bicycled.
But a marathon I am afraid of fatigue on joint, back, neck… that may lead to long term problems.

Cycling is great training for the heart but you will need to start running to find out if you will have any problems. Cycling and running uses the muscle groups differently.
