Primo Powerbite

How to get bmx crankset apart?
i’ve got a set of primo powerbite cranks that are second hand and i just dont know how to get them apart, can you please help!!
You need a puller to pull the pedal arms on a 3 piece crank after removing the nuts and covers. On cottered cranks you have to remove the cotter pins and drive them out. If you don’t have a puller you can bluff it by inserting a big chisel at the base of the crank arm and hitting it with a large hammer until it pops off.
Most BMXs have a one piece crank because they have superior strength. To remove a one piece take off the large nut where the pedal goes through the frame. Under it you will find a race that is either slotted or has a couple of holes in it for a special tool but you can usually use a pointed screwdriver to loosen these races. Remove the pedal on the same side and tilt and pull the crank until it comes through the frame.
