Antimicrobial Protection with Kitchen Silicone Sealant
Kitchens are one of the most used rooms of the house. This is the best way to get the control and fluidly you need to create a quality finish to your sealant jobs. If you have never applied kitchen sealant before then it is best to buy an extra tube and practise applying the product in straight lines on a piece of scrap cardboard. This will allow you to get a feel for how the applicator gun works and what you can expect when you seal your worktops and sink areas. It can also help if you use masking tape on both sides of the gap you are filling. This will give you a clear line to follow and the tape will help catch any excess sealant so that you can simply peel it away. Silicone sealants can be very messy to remove when they are wet so it is important to get it right first time.
